 Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub of the American is an actor comedian, activist, and actress. Her birthplace was in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents and began her career as an actress as a child soon after her move to the United States. She is most famous for her appearances in AT&T commercials on TV. In these commercials, she was Lily Adams (2013 to 2016) and then 2020 (since 2020 (from). Commercial appearances weren't her only activity she appeared in. She was also a part of the Yahoo! Screen science fiction show Other Space (2015) and played a part in a recurring role on the NBC drama This Is Us (2016-2017). Vayntrub has also been voiced as Squirrel Girl in the Marvel Rising franchise since 2018 after being selected to play Squirrel Girl in the unaired television pilot of New Warriors. Vayntrub was Jewish born in Tashkent, Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic. Her parents, who were just two years old, emigrated to America to escape antisemitism. They settled in West Hollywood. Her family's financial difficulties caused her to be a part of Mattel Barbie commercials from the age of 5. Vayntrub briefly attended Beverly Hills High School. But, she quit her sophomore year and earned the GED. Following that she went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication from the University of California San Diego. She learned how to perform improv from the Upright Citizens Brigade.
