 Jimmy Donaldson, also known as MrBeast (born 7 May 1998) is an American YouTube star and an entrepreneur. He is known for inventing YouTube videos that feature expensive stunts. His main YouTube channel, "MrBeast", is the fifth-most-subscribed on the platform. Donaldson started uploading videos to YouTube in the early months of 2012 at the age of 13, under the name "MrBeast6000" and his initial content ranged from Let's Plays to "videos which estimated the wealth of other YouTubers." He became a viral sensation in 2017 thanks to his "Counting to 100,000", video that received thousands of views in only a few days. When his channel began to gain traction, Donaldson hired several of his childhood friends to assist him in running the growing business. By 2022 the MrBeast team was comprised of 60 people.Donaldson's main YouTube channel, which reached 100 million users on July 28, 2022, is known as "MrBeast".
