Winona-Ryder

Winona Ryder is the professionally-known name given to Winona Laura Hoowitz. She was born in Winona Minnesota. The parents of her daughter named her after her hometown. Both her father Michel Horowitz, and mother Cynthia Palmer are authors and editors. Ryder is Jewish. Ryder believes that her father had an ethnically Jewish family. Uria Ryder is her younger brother. Jubal, Sunyata and Sunyata are Ryder's half-siblings. Ryder's family relocated to Mendocino County to California, when she was just seven. They was in a house that didn't have electric power. Ryder who was an avid reader at the age of 12 years old, became a reader because Ryder was not able to access television. In 1983 when she was 12 years old, Ryder was accepted into the American Conservatory Theatre to take acting classes. Lucas, a 1986 film which was her first big character. Ryder was only fifteen when she landed the role. Ryder had to deal with bullying throughout her time in high school. Ryder hoped that her actions could bring change. Unfortunately that didn't come to happen. However, she pushed on with her dreams. Her biggest break was in 1988 when she appeared in Tim Burton's Beetlejuice. Ryder continued to be successful in her roles in many movies. In 1993, he was nominated two times for Academy Awards.
